Hi, I’m Amy Penokie—founder of Whiskers & Wags, Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS), and passionate pet care provider based in Green Bay, WI. Raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I grew up surrounded by nature, animals, and a love for the outdoors that has shaped everything I do today.

My approach to pet care is rooted in kindness, trust, and connection. I believe every pet deserves care that’s both professional and personal. That’s why I’ve combined years of hands-on experience with industry standards to create a service you—and your pets—can rely on. I’m proud to be fully insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and I maintain my CPPS certification through Pet Sitters International to ensure the best for every animal in my care.

Beyond my work with Whiskers & Wags, I’m an outdoor sports enthusiast who finds joy in hiking, biking, and just about any activity that gets me moving outside. I also volunteer with local organizations that encourage kids and adults to enjoy physical activity in nature—because I believe health, joy, and community are all connected.
